Seasoned technology leader with two decades of experience in financial software development.

Sam joined Lantha in 2020 and is currently the Chief Technology Officer. Prior to joining Lantha, Sam worked for Synopsys, joining through the acquisition of QuantumWise, as a R&D Engineer for 7 years where he developed software for atomic scale simulations in the semiconductor industry. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014 with a Ph.D. in theoretical chemistry.

Dr. Kim is the Chief Science Officer at Lantha Inc., leading all chemistry research, development, and materials innovation. He oversees the design of advanced sensing materials and the integration of lanthanide-based MOFs into analytical technologies. Dr. Kim earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and completed postdoctoral work at UC Santa Barbara in polymer chemistry and materials development.

Harry brings nearly two decades of experience in optical instrumentation and sensor technology to Lantha Sensors. As Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Product Development, he leads strategy to turn advanced sensing concepts into scalable products. His previous roles include senior leadership positions at Tower Optical, Micatu, and Sensorex, and he began his career designing fluorescence and spectroscopy analyzers at Ocean Optics. Harry holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida.

Sarah joined Lantha in early 2025 and serves as Operations Manager, overseeing daily operations, driving process improvements and scalable solutions across the organization.  Prior to joining Lantha, Sarah built her operations foundation at Amazon, where she launched and managed large-scale logistics programs as an Area Manager in the Central Texas Region. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Finance from the University of Arkansas.

Kyra joined Lantha in June 2024 and serves as an Analytical chemist, synthesizing chemicals weekly, and conducting research and development of our product. Prior to joining Lantha, Kyra built her chemistry and analytical foundation at Weston Solutions, where she planned and monitored large scale hazardous site assessments and removals for the environmental protection agency. Kyra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Texas Christian University.

Quy Le joined Lantha Sensors in June 2024 as an Analytical Chemist. Prior to joining Lantha, Quy was mentored in Dr. Aubrey’s lab, where they synthesized and characterized Cu-THQ, a novel MOF with potential applications in energy storage, and conducted ligand design, lanthanide coordination, and crystal growth research with the UT FRI Luminators lab. A 2024 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Quy brings strong technical skills and scientific curiosity to support Lantha’s innovative sensor development.

Jiefeng joined Lantha in June 2025 as a Data Scientist. Prior to joining Lantha, Jiefeng was a Ph.D. candidate in theoretical and computational chemistry at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research focused on machine-learning-driven simulations for energy systems with multiple publications in Advanced Materials and ACS Nano. At Lantha, she applies data automation and modeling to advance materials design and enhance sensor performance.

Chris was nominated to the Board of Directors of Lantha in November 2023. He was appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer of the company in March 2024, and then acting CEO in December 2024. He continues to serve on the company’s board. Prior to joining Lantha, Chris began working as a financial analyst for William Bollinger in 2018. Prior to his work with Mr. Bollinger, Chris founded and operated a research service focused on mining equities and the precious metals sector. Chris attended The University of Texas at Austin before deciding to pursue a professional golf career.
